What started as a single delivery of 300 meals from Wahoo’s Fish Taco to Hoag Hospital in Irvine, CA on April 12, 2020, has turned into an astounding collaboration known as California Love Drop.
Wing Lam, co-founder of Wahoo’s Fish Taco, Wendy Ellis, CEO of Ellis Island Entertainment, and the Heidi & Frank Morning Show on KLOS FM have actively partnered with organizations such as Yogurtland, Antis Roofing, Monster Energy, Blue C Advertising, Vans, Stüssy, Yeti, Cholula Hot Sauce, Loan Depot, Drake’s Organic Spirits, Left Coast Brewing Company, The Purist Group and so many more! Together, they have worked to personally thank frontline heroes and provide vital support to our community in need.
To date, California Love Drop has delivered over 70,000 meals to more than 800 locations. Our mission remains strong—to keep the positive momentum going and continue celebrating the courage of our frontline heroes and the generosity of our local community.
